Leo The Lion

Leo is represented by the mythical lion. According to Greek mythology, as a part of the sentence for murdering his family, Hercules was commanded to kill the fierce and strong Nemean Lion with impenetrable skin. The Nemean lion couldn't be killed with any weapons as its skin was unaffected by metal, stone, and wood. So Hercules wrestled the lion with his bare hands and strangled the animal. Zeus commemorated this victory by placing the Lion in the sky as a constellation.
