Side plates made from reclaimed wood and epoxy resin. A set of 3 reclaimed wood side plates made from discarded twigs and branches and cast in epoxy resin and turned into beautiful wooden side plates on the lathe by our maker the first woodgeek.

These beautiful epoxy and resin wood side plates are handmade at the woodgeek workshop in a process that takes 3 days. The discarded branches and twigs are cut to size and the bark is removed. The twigs are cast in epoxy resin and left to cure for 2 days. After the resin and wood block hardens, side plates are carved out of it on the lathe and finished with a food-safe polish. The wooden plates are safe for hot food and most gravies (except for turmeric-based).

• One of a kind and made to order. Each set of 3 epoxy wood plates takes 3-4 days to make. 
  
• Finished with an Italian food-safe varnish from ICA for protection
• Safe for hot food and most gravies (except turmeric) 
• Sizes: Diameter - 5-6 inches approx; Weight - 150 gms / 0.33 lbs to 250 gms / 0.55 lbs depending upon wood type.
• Orders for epoxy wood side plates will take 3 weeks to deliver. 

Care Instructions

• Turmeric based food and gravies will leave a yellow stain on the wooden plates. This is a natural product and turmeric seeps into the wood grain and leaves a yellow stain.
  
• Do not put in a dishwasher, hand wash using soapy water and dry immediately. Do not leave it soaked in water in the sink for long periods of time.
• Do not put in a microwave. This is a natural wooden product and heating it in a microwave is not safe.
• Do not expose to harsh sunlight or under extreme heat for long periods of time.
  
• Keep dry. Store in a clean dry area.

This is a handmade product. Orders for handmade products can take 10-12 days to make and ship.

Domestic shipping (India) is free.  Delivery to metro cities takes 3-5 working days after we ship. You will receive tracking number for your package after you product is shipped out.

International shipping & delivery

We offer international shipping to most countries. International shipping rates are displayed during checkout. Delivery to Asia, North America and Western Europe takes 7-10 days*. You will receive a tracking number for your package after you product is shipped out. The customer is liable to pay any customs duty and local taxes applicable on the product.
